Equestrian Trails
Nemo “Niedomanski” Equestrian Trail
Price Creek Environmental Area/ Nemo Equestrian Trail is 300-acre park off Rt. 8 South, that has a horse riding path that skirts an environmentally protected area adjacent to Price Creek. The trail is just south of the Blue Heron Golf Course, and the parking area is large enough for horse trailer parking. There is no fee.
Equestrian Trail at Conquest Preserve
The county’s second equestrian trail, at Conquest Preserve, is a 1.5-mile equestrian riding path that will eventually be expanded to more than 10 miles. Directions: Rt. 301 to 213 North through Centreville, left on Spaniard Neck Road, left on Conquest Beach Road, trail parking is on right.
Riding trails are open dawn till dusk.
