Shaq, LeBron and Iverson have nothing on you. This is your chance to show everyone you’ve still got game. Join your friends one or two nights a week on Kent Island for a lively game of basketball. Give it a shot! Please, no hanging on the rim!

It’s time to work out some of that work stress with a friendly game of Dodgeball. This is the perfect game for having a fun energetic evening. Register your team of 6-10 players and get ready for the action. Entry Deadline September 1, 2010. Cost: $200 per team

Bayside Elementary School
Dates: Tuesdays or Thursdays depending on gym availability. Games will begin September 7 and go until November 18.
Time: 7:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.  Program: 971010

Participants will use simple techniques and useful skills to enjoy fun pick - up games. Great exercise and heart pounding thrills for all who dare to participate. Cost: $60

Get ready to dig, set and spike in this energy packed environment. Bring your friends or make some new ones for two energy packed hours of volleyball. Cost: $50

Sudlersville Middle School
Dates: Wednesdays, September 22 – December 8, 2010

Centreville Middle School
Dates: Thursdays, September 16 – December 9, 2010
Time: 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Program: 971008

This class is recommended for first time boaters to help insure safe boating practices on Maryland waters. The course includes: boating safety procedures and devices; rules of the road; basic navigation concepts and navigation aids; and emergency procedures. Upon successful completion of the exam a Department of Natural Resources Boating Safety Certification is issued. This course is mandatory for anyone born after July 1, 1972. Cost: $30.
