VOLLEYBALL SKILLS CLINIC, AGES 7 – 14

Kids will learn the fundamentals of volleyball including how to serve, dig, and SPIKE! Participants will receive instruction tailored to their individual age and ability level. Dynamic Volleyball Academy’s clinics are designed specifically for the beginning male or female volleyball athlete. This program includes age-appropriate instruction, focusing on motor skills, ball skills, game skills and most importantly, fun!
Cost: $75

KIDDIE KICKERS, AGES 3 – 5

This fun program will introduce children ages 3 – 5 to the basic motor skills necessary to play the game of Soccer in a fun, non-competitive atmosphere. Using the Start Smart Sports soccer curriculum you and your little one will work together to develop fundamental skills such as dribbling, kicking, trapping, throw-ins & agility. Held once a week for 6 weeks, each week the skills exercises will increase in difficulty as the participants’ progress. No special equipment is needed. Parent participation is required for this program.

Cost: $85 (includes participant kit: skills manual, set of shin guards & size 3 soccer ball.)

QAC BASKETBALL SKILLS CAMP, AGES 7 – 13   

 This camp is designed for anyone who is trying to improve his or her individual skills, especially ball handling and shooting. A variety of offensive skills are explained and demonstrated. Practice the skills and apply them in variety of drills and games. Focus: Through conditioning, drills and structured competitive settings, athletes will learn the fundamentals of the game of basketball. All athletes will be instructed from their present ability level with added emphasis on raising their overall basketball I.Q. Participants should be able to dribble with both hands and play on a “regulation” size basket. Cost: $70

OPEN GYM FOR YOUTH WITH SPECIAL NEEDS, ALL AGES    Sports for youth w/ disablities

Sports Activities for Youth with Disabilities is a unique recreational program designed so that children with any type of disability can participate in sports, particularly if their disability makes it difficult for them to join other mainstream programs. Activities will be tailored to meet the interest and ability level of each participant. The kids can learn basic skills and participate on an individual basis with a small group in basketball, baseball, soccer, lacrosse, hockey, volleyball, bowling and kickball. A parent or guardian is required to attend and may help or participate as needed. Cost: $75

AFTERSCHOOL BOWLING, K – 5          

Queen Anne’s County Parks and Recreation is offering After School Bowling as a fun, safe, supervised and recreation activity for students. Join us for a trip to the Easton’s Bowling Centre. Cost includes transportation to and from the school parking lot, bowling and shoes. Snacks can be purchased at bowling alley for a separate fee. Cost: $60
