Sports Activities for Youth with Disabilities is a unique recreational program designed so that children with any type of disability can participate in sports, particularly if their disability makes it difficult for them to join other mainstream programs. Activities will be tailored to meet the interest and ability level of each participant. The kids can learn basic skills and participate on an individual basis with a small group in basketball, baseball, soccer, lacrosse, hockey, volleyball, bowling and kickball. A parent or guardian is required to attend and may help or participate as needed. Cost: $75

Anyone born after July 1, 1972 must successfully complete this course in order to operate a powerboat or personal watercraft in Maryland waters. First time boaters learn safe boating practices. The course includes: boating safety procedures and devises, rules of the road, basic navigation concepts and navigation aids, and emergency procedures. A Department of Natural Resources Boating Certificate is issued upon successful completion of exam. Registration is required prior to class beginning. Please call 410-758-0848 ext. 2758 to register. Love the great outdoors? Let's go on a nature walk and make some cool creations from items you might find on your excursions! Learn about animals, their behaviors and habitats and more. Increase your knowledge about nature in a fun, interactive way. Offered at Kent Island and Grasonville elementary schools.  Cost: $40

Ready for some ooey, gooey, icky fun? Then you must be a supermarket scientist. Create far out mixtures of slime, playdoh, glurch and more from items found at the local grocery store. Classes offered at Kent Island Elementary and Grasonville Elementary schools. Cost: $40

Children will get their hands dirty while using their creativity to make fantastic (and functional) pieces of pottery. Expert pottery maker, Rita Ritter will provide instruction and materials. She offers this class county-wide!

Cost: $60 includes all materials for 4 weeks.

Join us for weekly trips to the Queen Anne’s Bowling Centre. Cost includes transportation to and from the school parking lot, all bowling, shoes, snack and drink. Cost: $65

Use the right side of your brain to make some really cool projects!  This after school program blends a classroom atmosphere with a whirlwind of activities that will surely delight Centreville Elementary School students. Cost: $60

Enjoy a day on your own in the Big Apple! See the majestic sights of New York City and leave the driving (and parking!) to us. Fee includes round trip transportation. Children may enroll if accompanied by an adult. Cost: $65 per person. Date: Saturday, April 14, 2012  (Last Day to Register 3/23/12)

Prepare to be whisked away on the tranquil winds of the Hawaiian Islands as we celebrate the spirit of Hawaii with “Islands of Aloha”! Native and tropical plants will rise in a living wall amid cascades of orchids and thundering waterfalls. Hula dancers, torch-twirlers and 3-D images of crashing waves and rumbling volcanoes will honor Pele, the Goddess of Fire. Fee includes round trip transportation and admission. Children may attend with an adult. Cost: $70.

Ever wonder how your favorite chips and snacks are made? You can see and smell the making of the famous Utz Potato Chips and Snacks in their 600,000 square foot facility as close as Hanover, PA. You will be guided step-by-step with the aid of a push-to-talk audio program and closed-circuit TV monitors. The Utz Potato Chip Trip is fun for the entire family, a learning experience for the young and old. Fee includes round trip transportation. Cost: $45
