Kiddie T-Ball, 3 & 4 PDF Print E-mail
tballThis fun program, held in various locations throughout the county, will introduce your little one to the game of Baseball/Softball. Children ages three and four will have fun while developing their skills and learning the game. All programs will run for eight weeks beginning April 14 - June 9, 2012 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Each child will need a baseball glove for fielding. Dress comfortable and wear tennis shoes.
Cost: $65 (includes fee for T-Shirt)

Sports Activities for Youth with Disabilities is a unique recreational program designed so that children with any type of disability can participate in sports, particularly if their disability makes it difficult for them to join other mainstream programs. Activities will be tailored to meet the interest and ability level of each participant. The kids can learn basic skills and participate on an individual basis with a small group in basketball, baseball, soccer, lacrosse, hockey, volleyball, bowling and kickball. A parent or guardian is required to attend and may help or participate as needed. Cost: $75

Boater Safety, Ages 10+ PDF Print E-mail

Anyone born after July 1, 1972 must successfully complete this course in order to operate a powerboat or personal watercraft in Maryland waters. First time boaters learn safe boating practices. The course includes: boating safety procedures and devises, rules of the road, basic navigation concepts and navigation aids, and emergency procedures. A Department of Natural Resources Boating Certificate is issued upon successful completion of exam. Registration is required prior to class beginning. Please call 410-758-0848 ext. 2758 to register.
