Four 2-week Sessions of Recreation Camps at Matapeake and Centreville Elementary Schools !

Keep your youngster active this summer with arts, crafts, sports, games, music, drama, speical events and field trips ! Recreation Camps are designed to provide enriching, structured leisure activities with staff of experienced instructors. Bring lunch, sancks and drinks each day.(Ages 5 - 13 as of December 31, 2008). 

Session 1 June 16 - June 26 

Session 2 June 30 - July 10

Session 3 July 14 - July 24

Session 4 July 28 - August 7

Directions to Pools 

Classes for each two week session are held Monday - Thursday (Friday is inclement weather make-up day) Registration is $55 per person. Class sizes are limited, and pre-registration is  required.

Pre-school Camp at Mowbray Park ! Summer Tots Pre-school Camp provides supervised recreational activities for children ages 3 & 4 years old (as of December 31, 2008). All children must be potty trained. The program features a variety of activities such as arts and crafts, games and music. 

Monday - Friday for 2.5 hours, from 9AM - 11:30AM.  Registration $70

 This class is for first time boaters to insure safe boating practices on Maryland waters. The course includes: boating safety procedures and devices; rules of the road; basic navigation concepts and navigation aids; and emergency procedures. Upon successful completion of the exam a Department of Natural Resources Boating Safety Certification is issued. This course is mandatory for anyone born after July 1, 1972. Pre-registration is required. Ages 10-up / 3 classes / 3 hrs / 6pm / $25.

 Moms and Dads sign up your toddlers for fun-filled mornings of play time, music, story telling, arts, crafts & more. Semi-structured course develops social skills in a class room setting. Parent Participation Required. Cost:  $25
