Anyone born after July 1, 1972 must successfully complete this course in order to operate a powerboat or personal watercraft in Maryland waters. First time boaters learn safe boating practices. The course includes: boating safety procedures and devises, rules of the road, basic navigation concepts and navigation aids, and emergency procedures. A Department of Natural Resources Boating Certificate is issued upon successful completion of exam. Registration is required prior to class beginning. Please call 410-758-0848 ext. 2758 to register. This fun program, held in various locations throughout the county, will introduce your little one to the game of Baseball/Softball. Children ages three and four will have fun while developing their skills and learning the game. All programs will run for eight weeks beginning April 14 - June 9, 2012 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Each child will need a baseball glove for fielding. Dress comfortable and wear tennis shoes.
